So none of our guys are in the Players Championship. Do you need to be at a certain qualifying level to get in? I thought it was open to all PGA players, thus the name. Kelly should have at least qualified.

Not open to the usual top 125 money list guys. PGA has looked at The Players as a 5th major and even moved the event from March to May so they could play "majors" in consecutive months from April/May/June/July/August but they are moving the Players back to March I think in 2019? Qualifying is similar to majors but I don't remember all the details. Largest purse on the tour so field is as strong as any. I've been going to this tournament every year since '93 as one of my H.S. bball teammates lives in Ponte Vedra and we do an annual team reunion for this event. It was best when played the same weekend as the sweet 16 and we hope it returns to that weekend.

So if I read it correctly, Colt is eligible but not playing.

If Kelly keeps up his good play he will get in next year, and Colt should get a medical exemption. Bryson needs to pick up his game.
