If that happenend off course it would be a major rebuild just based on all new faces outside of Foster and Gu. I highly doubt we lose both Semi and Shake if either after this season.

I'm not sure there could be a better front man for your newly found:
*25 plus win team *no APR problems *no arrest warrants *players love him and his flexibility in style *staff builder *court demeanor and overall manner in dealing with outside stuff *likes it here *plays a strat

That said, I'm a Terp too and I learned a big basketball life lesson watching late 90s Terp teams, in some cases w/just as much talent as Duke, try to press them all over the court. What happened was easy lay-ups and uncontested 3s. VCUs style worked in a league who didnt have the same caliber of talent/athlete. Then, when they'd hit the tourney, they were the first team most P5s had seen, in some cases all year, that pressed end to end for 40 minutes. Shock value won them games in March. I dont know if that style works in the bigs, night in and night out. I guess we'll see, when he gets his own players. He couldnt have inherited a roster more unlike what he actually needed to run that system.
I have to admit I find this whole thread humorous. We brought him with LB so that he could follow up when LB left. Then we booted LB last year and Jank has stepped in amazingly. I don't think that there is any way on earth that he would leave, much less that we would let him.
His business is backing successful executives build businesses. So he knows talent and is willing to pay up to keep them in the fold.
I'm sure Jank's agent has been told that SMU wants to talk after the season. I do believe that we win ties or close to ties with other offers. He is 58 and can't afford to go somewhere and flame out. He's done at that point.
Here - if he gets a 5 yr deal - he is secure and can ride off in the sunset with wins, love, and a great city to live in.
Well KSU getting handled by OU will likely seal Bruce Weber's fate. Would be surprised if they didnt make a run after Jank or at least took his temperature.
