I just did not think he would go there, but after the Jimbo deal at A&M and from what I was told, A&M never even talked to him, I am sure he was open to any P5 deal.
A recent poll shows 88% of Arkansas fans like the hire. The honeymoon is alive and active.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Stallion, you sure did say we should hire Todd Dodge. I believe your words were something like, "SMU will 'rue the day' it doesn't hire Todd Dodge."
You also were pushing to hire Charlie Waters pretty heavily, too, at one point.
It's okay, man, laugh at yourself. Even though I don't come here much anymore, we all know you to be a good poster with good insights. The Todd Dodge and Charlie Waters stuff just wasn't your best work.
Stallion wrote:I have never said that SMU should hire Todd Dodge-just because an [deleted] repeats it thousands of times doesn't make it true. I've challenged him to prove it multiple times and he disappears. What other poster has such an inferiority complex that he uses a poster ID of another poster and repeatedly brings up an alleged post a decade ago? And then can't ball-up and prove it. Anyone can search the ponyfans.com and nobody has ever proven that is accurate. So go ahead big man-prove your [deleted] or shut the hell up. The only thing I did was list Todd Dodge as one of 8 potential prospects for the job. There was never a time when Todd Dodge was a legitimate candidate for the job at any point within months of an SMU hire. We're waiting
Rue the day could be interpreted very closely .
Copycat has done an excellent job of smearing your persona.
Was Dodge a better prospect than Traylor? Dodge was a former UT QB (ooh boy!) and a kid who was graduating high school as a top 100 player. Traylor has two years of college experience in addition to much success at 3A Gilmer. The challenge is ability to hire a good staff.
He looks so unhappy being loved by a rabid fanbase
Now if SMU could just magically win 9-10 games 3 years in a row--seriously folks you haven't thought your theory through. Some of us have been waiting 50 years for your "solution"

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
As a parting present to Arku U., we can get Chad some Astrotruf for the bed of his pick-em-up in mustang colors. Push'em back..razorback..Pig...soooowie.
