Not sure which is worse.
Coach Chad reminds me of the guy hosting free dinners where they try to get you to buy an Index Annuity.
Porker Chad reminds me of a used car salesman on Harry Hines who has an "Okie" warranty on his cars...........warranty good till you drive off the lot.

Right, though ego won't keep them around very long once they get on the job and see just how difficult it's going to be to "change the environment". At that point, they'll start pursuing jobs where the environment doesn't need changing. This is all assuming the job was anything more than just a stepping stone to start which is rarely the case.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Yep, our new coach has been down that road before. The question is will he do well enough here to get called again. I could get used to this stepping stone thing, it's definitely better than being a graveyard.

I donΓÇÖt understand the Mason love. Was he not the DC the year SMU set historical records being outscored? Was he also not the DC at UTEP who just went 0-12? I can see the argument that it wasnΓÇÖt his fault the team was so bad in 2014. But what is the UTEP excuse?

SMU - given what he had to work with, Mason did a very solid job until the lack of recruiting made in impossible for him to succeed. Frankly, the defenses in June's era were much better than I expected.

I don't know what happened at UTEP.
MasonΓÇÖs defense was not good when he went to Hawaii and UTEP. And he was not that good of a recruiter. Would be a mediocre hire.
