While we are at it, can we not have Beth Mowins announcing again either...EVER

Yes. The officials and announcer undoubtedly cost us this game!

This teams loses to Houston, Tulsa and probably Navy. Just too many dumb penalties and drops. Poor coaching with clock management l, no WR that can catch and stay healthy. Everyone tired at the end o the game...

SMU with 75 rushing yards on 39 carries, which of course includes our QBs getting mauled and running for their lives. Bentley and Lavine did average 3 whole yards per carry thanks to our brilliant play calling that fooled the defense and had those guys getting so many carries on obvious passing downs. This was just a thorough [deleted] whooping tonight

Our game prep appeared shockingly bad. It was worse than JJΓÇÖs ΓÇ£penciled lossesΓÇ¥.

Thankfully Beth Mowins kept most people from watching the game.

Can we be please stop with the three down lineman. It obviously does not work. Can we please stop with the inside run game it obviously does not work. Can we please stop with the lateral passing game it does not work.

I think our staff suffers from gamblerΓÇÖs fallacy...ΓÇ¥itΓÇÖs bound to work this time!ΓÇ¥

Amen. I think Riley needs to be on a hot seat. When the fans can predict your plays so can the other team.

CanΓÇÖt believe IΓÇÖm saying this, but I think my eyes have finally been opened. We may be lucky to get to six wins. SMU was a 5-0 paper tiger with a margin of victory of 4pts if you take away garbage SFA and UNT. Our defense is really soft, and our offense puts fear in no one. Buckle up everyone. We are about to find out what happens when the PR team canΓÇÖt get on the field.

Now that we're out of the New Year's Six, we can look forward to getting our butts kicked by some mediocre Sun Belt team in a bowl game no one has ever heard of. And lots of people will be watching because it will be the only game on at that time.
And we keep reading about how the linemen are bigger, stronger and more athletic than ever. We can't even gave our quarterback a chance to find an open receiver. And when he did, they dropped the ball. Painful to watch.
Silver lining - it was on ESPN2 and most fans were watching another telecast.

I don't post much, but enjoy reading all the comments....But, man o man, how fast attitudes change. 5-0 love to 5-1, end of world...One game guys, next week bounce back is huge. Stop with sky is falling until it starts to fall. Pretty sure if someone said, 5-1 after first six games this year everyone would have said, "that would be great"
