Our second and third teams play a lot in the first half. We get better in the second because our first team is out there the majority of the time, and the consistency helps us put teams away.

It’s a good strategy. Rest the starters. Minimize injuries. If we are solidly ahead, don’t use them.

Memphis vs UCF tonight should be interesting. Along with Houston, these are 2 more teams we have to get past to set up a huge date with Cincy. Curious as to whether UCF will pack their stadium after already suffering 3 losses. It helps that their stadium only has capacity to accommodate 2/3 of their undergraduate population

UCF manhandling Memphis on the ground and 4 turnovers deflating the Tigers.

24-7 late 4th.

Neither team gained 300 yards. Not sure if they just have better defenses than we have or poor offenses. I'm thinking it was a little of both. Based on what little I watched, Houston could be the toughest of our next 3 opponents

Both teams missing their starting QBs made a difference. Both starters will most likely be back for our games.

It took Navy just 25 seconds to turn what might have been a 3 point halftime lead into a 3 point deficit. That was an ugly finish to the 1st half but Cincy has a fight on their hands

Late score by Navy made their 27-20 loss to Cincy look closer than it really was but nice comeback after getting gown 27-10 in 3rd quarter. Always good to get out of Annapolis with a W

I want Houston to win that game and come into our game with only one loss. Cougs just took 17-10 lead as I was posting

Same here but I want them to have to fight tooth and nail to beat ECU though it would help us in the conference fight if they lose so if we lose to them we still have a chance.

UH and ECU both looked like bad high school teams, occasional flashes of competence but mostly poor execution. Let's hope coog high plays to the same level of ineptness next week.
