Don’t understand why we went for 2 rather than the 1 PAT. That was dumb as it set us up in a hole if we had of been able to hold them and score again.

As much as anything else, the difference in how the two teams tackled impacted this game.

It's like playing defense 1st in OT. Make that 2 and you can kick the next PAT to win the game. Miss and you know you have to convert next time...but that assumes your defense can get a stop and you can score again. I liked the call but our defense stinks. Period.

Really disappointing. Missed opportunity. Mostly disappointed in the poor play calling, really poor special teams, terrible tackling and lack of energy for a rivalry game. Hard to win when you don’t have good field position, poor tackling and a quarterback with ~50% pass rate.

2 games in a row that we lost without being beat

Really? What game were you watching? TCU ran the ball down our throats and had much better special teams play than our guys. That was the difference in this game

And the OL was superior. Good for them.

Tough way to end the game with that penalty. I couldn't help but think about last year's La Tech game and was really hoping for one last chance, especially with a time out still available. I give TCU credit for beating our guys today and for helping set a home attendance record for Ford Stadium. Our guys could just not stop the run...now 2 games in a row.

This one REALLY hurts and in my mind, the ONLY way to salvage this season would be to win the AAC or at least win our division and to beat UCF, Houston & Cincy but my fear is we head to Orlando and lose our 3rd straight game next week

1st half we seemed timid an unprepared defensively, TM threw a couple of INTs, and at times the play calls (all the trickery) failed. Internal mistakes. Their running game was strong at first, we made a few stands, but blew it

If we go out against UCF and TM looks the same and we lose, is it too early to just move on to PS and start building the young guys like Camar, RJ, etc for next season? I hate to punt on the year but a 2-3 start would be hard to come back from.

Yeah, we got manhandled

Score was actually closer than on field performance.

Of course our coaches know better than us, but TM has disappointed and if Preston really is close to TM, i start him next week. UCF game is already a sellout so it will be a hostile environment but PS is our future, and given the NIL world we now live in, if he’s just mop up duty for the next several games, i think we run a higher risk of losing him.
