Well, everyone has been talking about us moving up to 2 or 3 seed in Conference tourney, and I have been pointing out that SMU still has a chance at #1.

Well, now we are very close! We need Cincy to lose to Memphis and we win out and #1 is ours.

Edit: and I guess Cincy still needs to avoid blowing a stinky at Rutgers.

now let's see Virginia knock off Syracuse...at this point it's about getting a better seeding in March Madness

Just starting...16 Michigan vs Minn and # 17 Kentucky vs S Carolina on road. 2nd loss this week for UK will probably drop them below SMU in AP.

VCU puttin it on St Louis. Up 10 with 8 left in first half. Good.

Will have 5 ranked in AAC again. Oh yeah and Texas won't be ranked anymore. Life is good.

Watching now... If they lose this Coupling with Duquense loss at home earlier in week, who knows, Smu could pass St Louis too.

I don't disagree , just win baby, etc., but trying to be realistic.

This is really a good day for SMU. With UConn and Louisville losing we have a realistic chance at going into first place and winning the AAC regular season title. Go SMU.

AP Rankings have VERY little to do with seeding in the tournament just FYI. So if you're looking at that as the indicator of where a team ends up in bracketology, you might as well forget it. Rankings just reflect who has won quite a few in a row or teams that lost the previous week.
