According to the Sunday Tyler paper, Mt. Vernon High School quarterback Ricky Joe Meeks has committed to the Mustangs. 6'3'' 210lbs All East Texas punter and Honorable Mention Quarterback. This one is a keeper. Great arm and leg. He has thrown for over 3,000 yds. the last two years as a soph. and junior. Super recruiting start.
