Observations...esp.for BRStang & anyone calling KF 'tough'

Alright...so the day began at 4am, quick flight, crappy game, and flight back home. Aside from the usual fill in the blank frustration with my guys (more on that in a second), this is the most glaring thing I noticed today:
I went to this o.o.t. game to 'experience' Kyle Field. Aggieland. 2nd toughest stadium to play at for an away team in America. Huh? BR Stang will agree with me, anyone calling KF an intimidating experience has never set foot into Tiger Stadium on a Sat. night. Those that doubt, tell me on some weekend when we're not using our seats in section N37 at Death Valley. My treat. The Aggie band? Yawn. I think our Mustang Band got more out of the crowd when they were marching. And enough of the JROTC thing...had my fill in H.S. 17 years ago.
I only have two points to make about the game. 1) For once, it wasn't a preparation thing so much as an execution thing. Our guys were there with passes thrown to hit them in the hands...didn't catch them. Were there to make a tackle...didn't do it. Held aTm to one offensive TD most of the first half. Apparently didn't care about having done so. 2) Perhaps the saddest and most important thing...it kills me when I see the loyal 60y.o. plus fans at home & away games who are diehard, believe, and even amidst the shellacking have a smile and say, "don't give up." As frustrating as our lil' Mustangs are, we should all be disappointed in ourselves if we're not as loyal when the time comes.
