The media up here is making Saturday's game out like Navy just won the Orange Bowl. To listen to the east coast media, you'd think Navy was going to challenge Oklahoma and the Florida schools for the national title. There was a talk show that actually said Navy has one of the best offenses in the country, and went on and on about how they shut down our high-powered attack. This is painful. I hope we upset Texas Tech and that Navy gets clobbered the rest of the way, just to make these bandwagon jumpers pipe down a little.

you might want to reconsider that statement. I'd like nothing more than to see Navy go on and have a winning season. I'd love to see them upset N.C.State this weekend. We should pull for all of our opponents (and other WAC schools' opponents) to do well with the rest of their schedule because that is a component of the computer rankings that judge how strong our team and conference might be. Don't let emotion get in the way of rational thought.
