All you UT fans can blame Craig James for this loss. He jinxed the horns.
Saunders: Does Kansas State have a chance?
James: Only if they knock McCoy out of the game.

All I can say is that I would have no problem playing any team helmed by Snead (be it Utep, Houston or TCU). That kid blew everything that UT had worked for this year.

Mustangfan01, we must not have watched the same game. UT's defense and special teams give up 45 points and you think it was the QB's fault? I may now understand why some of you post what you do about the ponies. It is always the QB's and the Coachs fault. Wow........

Snead routinely missed his receivers. I could feel how nervous he was well into the 2nd half, and how many times did HE get sacked? 6 times. That kid had no poise in the pocket, did you see his footwork? I'm surprised he didn't fall down every time he dropped back. UT could have scored 60+ if Snead was any good.

and Justin Willis looked better in his first two games?

I am the last person on here you will see blaming PB for what happens...pay attention before you just start talking.
Moving on, Snead did not even play mediocre. He thinks he is too good to be the #2 at UT and he gets pushed around by K-State. I think Eric Johnson could beat Kansas State with those receivers/RBs/O-Line. Hopefully Colt gets better quick or they might lose to Aggy.

First of all I am not a UT fan or supporter. Did Snead look great, no. But for you to blame the QB when the defense and special teams play the way Texas did, give me a break. He may think that he is too good to be the #2 guy, but to come in and lead UT to 35 of the teams 42 points, I would take that every game. I guess that Mack Brown should have been telling the back up QB that with our line, running backs and receivers that we need to score 62 for us to win or the guys on ponyfans are going to blame this loss on you. Just my thoughts on a Sunday night after another Mustang loss. Please let us win out. Now I have started begging.
Well I went and look at Snead stats: 19/30 no int. and 1 touchdown. That is only 63% completions. Not bad for his first real outing.

See now this guy's maintaining his sense of humor. That's what it takes. What's the matter with the rest of you sunshiners?

All this proved is that Snead is not ready to lead a Div. 1A ballclub yet. I think this just means that Texas will how on to him a bit longer. Maybe I'm delusional.
I don't think you can blame this loss on any one thing, but McCoy getting hurt certainly didn't help. We got out-played, not much more to say.

i also dont blame, phil or anyone one the smu staff or team...everyone did a good job just the better team won...we still have two more very winnable games...o and houston by far has the best athletes weve seen since texas tech.
