PB IS an honorable and good man. These young men are getting off hospital beds to play this game called football, for him. He loves each and every one of them. His high moral and ethical standards are what SMU should be supporting.
OK two things to change... Transfer hour acceptance and athletic friendly degree majors.
Stallion has brought up that SMU does not have a level playing field. How true.
The NCAA sets standards and SMU demands higher.
I say let PB go recruit and transfer in, who he chooses. I bet they will be players of good character and they will FIGHT , FIGHT, FIGHT for SMU.

YO - way to talk about how honarable PB is and how he will recruit players of good character and high morals when you try to say we need to keep him.
I personally love reading about our players being arrested at bars and attacking fellow students. Maybe if they would just focus on football...

It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

This talk about our Admission standards is no longer valid. We had a pretty good level of talent this year and the team failed. You must take a look at the coaching staff. I've got one word for you RICE!

The only game I saw live was the Houston game, and we are running pitch outs to the short side of the field inside the 10 - terrible offensive play calling.
Rusty Burns had nothing to do with the defensive collapse against ECU and Houston. UNT's QB looked like Michael Vick against us. Didn't Bennett already get his one ( head coach on the way out fire your Offensive coordinator) card, which he used to hire Rusty Burns! Don't forget that little tidbit! We need a Real Head Coach, who will bring in real offensive and defensive coordinators.

Lets not go making our players sound like thugs without knowing what your really talking about... There was no "attacking" fellow students, there was, however, defending oneself after being stalked and harrased for over a year... And if you actually knew the players and the real situation with the arrest at the bars you would know that the situation was in know way a judge of character for those individuals and instead an unfortunate case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nobody ever gives the publicity to the players that are spending those few moments when their not eating, breathing, sleeping football to be involved with FCA and community volunteering. Those young men are still going to make mistakes but I would be proud to have them represent me and my school.
