Learned my lesson a long time ago...you have her pick out exactly what she wants and then you go pay for it, wrap it and place it under the tree. Everyone is much happier that way.

And although perhaps difficult to understand in the male mind, a CZ is the antithesis of a diamond, not a comparable. And a woman can tell immediately.
