I suspect that SMU may have more $ that has been stated. IF this is true ??? Here is a possible scenario. Meets the WOW factor. Terry Bowden apparently will have some problems getting a HC job at any major school due to being out of football so long. Seems like all the Bowdens coaching are in some kind of a difficult situation where they are. So here goes. SMU hires Tommy or Bobby and Terry becomes asst. After a couple of yr.s one retires or stays, or moves on. Terry then moves to HC at SMU or gets back into a HC job elsewhere. Seems like coaches like to have family members around. Stoops/Stoops, Bennett/Bennett, Phillips/Phillips. Meets everything on the board. Certainly meets the WOW factor.[/b]

And why would Bobby leave FSU?
If you 'eventually' wanted Terry, then just let him coach. The guy went undefeated at AU...

Guy went undefeated at AU with someone else talent...couldnt do squat with his own recruits...
if you think BB would come and coach here, you might as well as Carr to come out of retirement

I actually thought about that scenario this morning. But it would be Tommy with Terry as his assistant. No way Bobby comes here.
When the Bowdens are successful, Terry goes on to an upper echelon BCS job and everyone's happy. Tommy may long for the days when he's not putting up with all the crap. He likely had some fun at Tulane
Keep in mind Dallas has to be a heckuva lot more exciting than South Carolina. And TOB has to be tiring of the mess. The man is one of the most underappreciated BCS coaches ever.
Keep in mind also, this theory is crazy. It would be way too good to be true. And no I am not smoking crack.

Tommy Bowden has been mentioned quite abit on this board. I know it's out there in a sense, but also some logic to it.

Don't od. Just take a valuim. Things may end up this way. The Pete Carroll thing is strange as that won't happen in a zillion yr.s Robinson lives here in Phx and happy to play golf. So am told. This whole thing seems to be about the Bowdens. It will probably be a Bowden. I don't think $ is a problem. Will meet the WOW thing. Granted this sounds better after a few Bud's, however I thought up this thing without any Bud's.
