The Baylor Job

Well, now the Baylor job is all the talk on the rumor sites. Where once SMU was mentioned in connection with such names as Terry Bowden, Houston Nutt and Glen Mason, now Baylor is the primo destination for these "WOW" candidates.
All I can say is that if Baylor steals our thunder and hires Bowden, etc. and we get stuck with the usual dipsh!t, I'm gonna go Nutts!!!

SMU needed to strike while the iron was hot - the problem was that they could not because the interest just was not there.
Don't let the arkansas thing fool you. Nutt will be out of a job and he has supposedly been propositioned. He may yet take the SMU job. Contrary to waht some are reporting the position has not been filled yet.

who even cares? we all have been playing the waiting game ever since it was announced PB wasnt comming back...do any of us really believe the names that have been mentioned for the job? i know i havent...im not believing anything until theres a press conference and Orsini introduces the new coach...

I'm not worried. According to people on this site whom others say are reliable, our guy is signed. Can't wait until 1 minute after the game this Saturday for the announcement.

Way to stay on top of it Mr. Sports and entertainment industry guy. ESPN broke the story that Nutt was out on its college web site on Friday.

Nutt can't take an SMU job that isn't offered.
