Snag?

Tsai's reporting a "snag" has been hit. Wanted to get the deal done by 5:00 pm their time but something has come up.......

We are reading what we want. I read the blog twice, here is what it says:

1) Jones did resign yesterday-- Herman got the same letter everybody else did and this was confirmed by UH (he can rescind it, but it is not like he did not send it). Contrary to the Star Bulletiin. Proceduraly he had to resign to be able to agree to a new contract.

2) There was a delay in the announcement- a "significant delay", but this could simply mean all the details were not hammered out, including JJ's assistants (that's what Tsai said). He raises the question-- "Was there a snag?". He did not say there was a snag. Hopefull to me, it means he was having second thoughts (that's my hope).

Or is the SNAG... You mean I can not bring in JUCO's?..... You do not have a Physical Education Major?..... You mean I can not take partial qualifiers?... Well, maybe I need to think about this.

I mean I still like you but, I am old enough to see the FATAL FLAWs.

PLEEZ change some things for JJ and all the loyal Mustang Fans.

Technically no such thing as partial qualifiers any more. You either qualify or you don't.

I think the writing is on the wall now. No June Jones. Lets usher in the era of Mighty Fran.

Sorry that I am not up to date with the most current writing of the NCAA guidlines.

My desire is to have SMU comply to those curret guidelines and nothing added. We need a level playing field. I am SO SICK OF LOSING.

Not sure why everyone seems to think Frank is the fallback. His interview went poorly and he expressed low interest in coaching at SMU.
