JJ has had enough time to decide ---either he wants to be at SMU or not. Dragging this out makes it more embrassing all the time. SMU nation needs a coach tomorrow and as far as I am concerned as an SMU fan I am tried of being played ...sorry June we tried but its over ...sign now or head back to Hawaii ( maybe with his raise he can now pay for the soap in the Hawaii locker room )...... let's call this off before Jones and especially his sleazy ball agent embrass us any futher .......

That sleazy agent requires all clients to place a clause in each client contract that requires a certain % of earnings go to local charity/ scholarship funds...

It's all going to be over soon. One way or the other. Either there will be a press conference tomorrow with Jones (likely) or something later in the weeks with "somebody else."

Listen ....I understand business and to me SMU is being played. June Jones is an honorable man however his heart is in Hawaii not in Dallas... he will end up going with his heart and breaking ours ...let's at least keep some of SMU pride by going on the record with a definative time line and making a hire of someone who clearly wants to be on the Hilltop and is not playing SMU to get a better deal from Hawaii. Another thing ....the agent Mr. Steinberg is not worred about anythng but making sure he gets his pubilicty and lines his pockets. My guess is this is his plan and Jones never had any inclination to leave the island !
