ABC network Honolulu: KITV (Ch. 4)
CBS network Honolulu: KGMB (Ch. 9)
Fox network Honolulu: KHON (Ch. 2)

I think 03 means the UH football program, not the news station. They aren't competing with 4 professional teams and 2 other D1 universities in town alone, not to mention all the Big 12 schools in the state and the pro teams in Houston and SA.

I'm going to have to agree. I'll repeat now what I have said a couple of times before, Fran's NCAA problems make him too hot to handle at this point. I dont think he'll be coaching anywhere this next season. Schools dont want to touch him, yet. He'll sit at home and collect his 1.7 million for a year, watch as many high school football games as he wants, and wait for some of the smoke to clear.
SMU interviewing Fran was a smokescreen from the beginning. That's just my opinion, but I'm sticking to it. SMU was the only school that showed a glimmer of interest in Fran, and 3 weeks after his interview the search is solely focused on someone else. Fran could have been here a month ago, if SMU had a real interest in him, but they continued interviewing other candidates (Jones, Martz, Tenuta) long afterward. If Fran was the solid #2 choice behind Jones, then there would have been no need to talk to Martz or Tenuta.
