Hello from a Southern Miss fan. Congratulations on the new hire. I think that the conference as a whole has upgraded coaches the past 2 years. And SMU seems to have made a great hire. I live in Argyle so I may try to make a game or two next year.

Oh no doubt. In fact I'm sure to have some friends up for the game as well... What are the other home games for SMU? It is ok for me to wear my Black and Gold if I cheer for SMU right? That is for a non SMU - Suthern Miss game.

It's fine with me, though red and blue is preferred...
Correct me if I am wrong, guys, but I believe our home schedule includes these teams:
Texas State
TCU
Houston
Tulsa
USM
Memphis
TCU Game

I would love to see SMU beat TCU. That may be the game.

Where an SMU to the games. When you look down at your shirt it will ALMOST say USM.

Wasn't it the 2006 season when CNNSI's top 119 had us listed as "SMUt," Michigan State as "SMU" and USM as "Southern Methodist?"
EDIT: USM was correct...but Western Michigan's record was 57-4!

Congratulations to SMU for getting a fine outstanding coach in June Jones!
Do you folks have plenty of young pretty women there on campus nowadays? JJ seems to enjoy them a lot and he'll have even more money and perks now to have some real fun in this great state of Texas. He even impregnated one of their top volleyball players a few years ago before his terrible suicide attempt... err I mean automobile accident. Isn't that wonderful?! He wanted more little JJ's running around.

His ohana in Hawaii was very gracious to him and helped hide plenty of his skeletons to keep him out of trouble. Hopefully the new ohana in Dallas will do the same for him there. But don't worry about all that other stuff since you all have been through much worse. He still kicks butt as a coach and will bring you folks a C-USA championship in no time.
Again, congratulations on this incredible hire!
