JJ has successfully converted DT to RB as big bruising backs (most recently Mauia), does anyone has an update on how the back field is performing in OTAs. I am particularly interested in McKinney and Goldthorpe's progress in picking up the blocking schemes and run game.

I would bet that if DeMyron Martin, Andrew McKinney and Chris Butler stay healthy, Goldthorpe gets little playing time (outside of maybe special teams), if any, as he gets used to playing a new position.

Maybe he should change his name to Oglethorpe for the intimidation factor.

Oh this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country's refusal to accept him, well, I guess that's more than most 21-year-olds can handle.

As self-proclaimed sports fans, you guys really oughtta check out Slapshot if you haven't. It's one of two hockey movies (Miracle is the other) that the hockey community at large actually accepts.

ESPN had an article awhile back that the son of one of the Hansen brothers say the movie for the first time on a hockey trip and realized it was his dad. Apparently his dad never told him about his past...weird.
