its just a link to his rivals page, but hey, when was the last time we had a freshman getting his name listed w/ the BCS incoming freshman
I am rooting for Braden b/c I know him, but I think its awesome SMU is getting some exposure..

What scares me about that list is that he is only one of two QB's listed. And the other QB is at Baylor, not exactly a powerhouse.
What that shows me is that most BCS and contending teams do not usually start freshmen QB's.

Imagine the exposure if SMU whips up on Rice on ESPN's debut game.

Nothing Jones does is like how BCS teams do it - they are chock full of talent and we like Hawaii have tons of holes. I think he's done OK in his career thus far. I don't think we'll have a bowl year, but I didn't think we would with Willis either.

Very true comment about JJ, and I trust his judgment re: QB play and the overall improvement of the program.
I was just noting that its not really a good thing to be on that list, i.e. counting on a frosh qb.
Hopefully, Bo knows football!!!

Rice isn't exactly a powerhouse. It would be a good win for us, but it won't get us any votes for #1.

No, but a loss certainly doesn't help either

SI has us at like 88 or something like that already. Not sure if that's before we decided to start a freshman though.

There is anonther QB listed from Ohio State, and I think they are considered kind of a powerhouse.
