Is it safe to assume they at least got the $1 million they were offered previously?

Must be nice to get a life-changing sack of money just for being annoying.

If that were the case, I would have made $100 million for my posts on PF

Never assume anything. They might have lost a lot of leverage because the Library is not going there, and as trial loomed they might have figured that whatever SMU was offering them was better than nothing and they still would have come out ahead. Get a jury of "W" lovers wearing wife beater t-shirts and they might have gotten bupkus.

Vodicka indicated to Channel 8 last night he has spent more than $500,000 on the case and that he did not lose money.

Take that to mean whatever you want.

I wonder if his ex-wife will bring any of that to Arkansas to spend?
