Just noticed that Ashton Duhe was rated 3 Stars 5.5 by Rivals. We are now up to 12 3-Star recruits.

Very nice. I don't claim to know how the rating system works, but based on the number of offers he has, I think he should be a 3 star. I still find it odd that some of our 3 star commits don't have any other offers, while guys like Fields, Beard and Guinyard have multiple BCS offers and are only rated slightly higher...not that I'm complaining. I'll definitely take it! If Duhe is a 3 star, shouldn't Parker Mack be a 4 star, based on the quality of offers? Would be huge if we could land him!

Duhe is a guard and a strong one at that. Mack is a tackle and what may be holding him back is foot speed. He is about where he should be.

is he tall? that's what counts right now...

Is this Duhe's first rating? Or was he bumped from 2 to 3?

You really have to believe when the signing class is announced and we get some recruits that aren't even on the lists ( from Lousville and maybe Kansas castoffs) that we will be at #2 or even #1 with some luck.

USM is in the East. So he's correct, 2nd in the West.

That's right, I misread the west part and thought he was talking about CUSA as a whole. Either way we are doing pretty good.
