How many Houston Ponies have season tickets?

I just made the last of five trips down to Houston to watch UH games. I missed the Friday night UTEP game. Does SMU have a pretty good contingent of Houston area alums that come up for games? Does Houston have a pretty strong SMU alumni chapter?

I'm looking forward to the Marshall game and these trips really remind me how good the Dallas area SMU alums have it. Great stadium, exciting team and inexpensive seats (especially endzone...then move over).

Houston has the second largest number of SMU alums after Dallas. There are some very loyal (and generous) supporters from the Houston area and some great former players. I know several former players come up from Houston for several games.
