He was recently named the 7th best player in California...a guy who fits SMU's system...SMU is his first offer but Az State and UCLA are hot on the trail...

Pretty unlikely we can land him but w/ Klemm's California magic you never know. You have to love this staff's mindset that they are not afraid in the least to mix it up with the big boys. Never hurts to throw your hat in the ring!

Or beat the big boys like we did with Moreland and Levingston.

CU has a beautiful campus but their chicks are homely and pale, their academics suck, and its just a bunch of limp-wristed potsmokers pretending to be interested in football. SMU is a vastly superior institution to CU-Boulder.

Boulder is pretty cool. Really depends if you like the big city or Mountains/scenery. Summers are great unlike the Heat pit.

It would be great if the kid ended up at SMU. It will be interesting as his recruitment heats up. I laugh at the cu folk. I lived in the Denver area and grew up in the LA area. I was one of those kids from So Cal to choose SMU. cu is nice. boulder is nice (excellent beer). But, if the kid is thinking nfl & other potential, SMU is running a pretty good record right now under JJ. Go Ponies!
