any word on how the visit for meyer went yesterday i heard he was leaning heavily towards SMU

Until yesterday, they only had one recruit on Rivals. They may be at zero on Scout.

Well lookie-I see Baylor at No. 24 with about 2 Four Stars and 6 Three Stars (on the more restrictive Scout star system) within a Stones throw of the SMU campus. Because you know, all those Dallas kids dream about going to Baylor-a private institution and playing in crazy Waco all their lives. We could never dream of out-recruiting Baylor in DFW. The golden lights and thrilling nites of Waco are simply too much to withstand. I'm glad we don't waste time finding a Klemm type to recruit DFW.

I'll give you two that we should have: Allen Wilson & Ramon Flanigan. Bring those two aboard & see what they add to Klemm's Cali haul

People throw around the idea of finding a "DFW Klemm type" like that would be easy to do. I agree that it would be nice to see the coaches recruiting DFW more aggressively. It would also be refreshing to see coaches not named Klemm or Reinbold on the recruiting trail. That being said, do any of you realize how unique AK is? He has a story that he can sell to recruits. He came from the hood. Played at Hawaii on a horrible team. June comes in and turns things around. He gets drafted and wins three super bowls. He is loyal to JJ and believes what he is selling. Our Klemm type guys are currently at camp with the Redskins, Saints, and Steelers. This is just my opinion.

On trying? What, call Jones' office and demand he hire Ramon Flanigan or Allen Wilson? Stallion's comment is spot on though.

Actually, the Flanigan, Allen Wilson (he has some time since he retired from Carter) are good suggestions.

Just above Houston? We're 49th and they are 70?

Some of the SMU commits added a star on Scout.
