Ponyfans:
Scarves are in and anyone still interested in joining Red and Blue Army or receiving a scarf is welcome to do so through the PayPal link on our
Blog.
If you already have your season football tickets, click the "Student Membership" option at the bottom of the blog post. Although it says "student", this option is meant for anyone who already has their football tickets (like students) but still wants to be part of Red And Blue Army. I promise, treatment will be no different from the Full Membership other than an invitation to join as a Full Member at the end of the season and no season ticket in our section (110); but you'll still receive a scarf and be able to participate in all other Membership events.
Red and Blue Army is an independent Mustang football Supporter's Group whose goal it is to enhance the overall fan experience in Ford Stadium and to try to get young alumni involved after graduating. For more details about our group, please read
here.

Thank you. We're definitely gaining momentum now that football is on the horizon. Look for RBA on the Boulevard this Fall but more importantly, look for us in Section 110 and help spread the enthusiasm to yours. With all this conference re-alignment speculation, it is more important than ever for SMU fans to show up and for their presence to be felt in Ford...now. Even if we can only get 21K to games, we've got to find a way to make it feel more like 30K. More active fan participation would go a long way towards this, and that's what we're all about.
I can't remember if I've shared this on PonyFans yet but here are some excepts from an interview I had with Jeff Reinebold over the Summer about what coaches want as far as fan support goes. What he says isn't going to to shock anyone but his enthusiasm is fun to read, and again, thinking about ways to increase fan support and visibility is as vital as ever in 2011-2012.

In fact my wife quickly swiped it out of my hands and laid claim to it...figures. I was a little disappointed that my "membership number" was only 37. C'mon guys, it's $30 if you're a season ticket holder. Help these guys out...

Happy to have the Red & Blue Army working it, but you'll never ever see me in a scarf.
