Looks like Texas Longhorns are set to replace their annual Thanksgiving Day game with the Ags in favor of a new multi-year deal with Notre Dame. Not done yet but a national broadcast deal is in the works and it sounds like the number could be huge.

If this gets done, the game will be broadcast nationwide on network TV and the $$ # will be massive. I also hear the payment structure may upset some other teams in the little 12 conference. but, hey, they're texas.

i'm not sure about how the tv revenue sharing is arranged, but i would think there would be some exceptions since this is a non-conference game.

Wouldn't giving up tier 1 rights also include OC games? hence the entire b-12-xx would benefit.
GO PONIES!!!

This would give Texas ridiculous national exposure. Right now they are not a huge national team. But ND over Thanksgiving will put them on the must watch list for sure.
