Naw, they know the other teams involved in the conversation and wouldn't sign if they didn't approve. Probably just comes down to deciding on which 2 of the 3. Don't want to just ask 1 at a time, comes in pairs. So it's either Temple/SMU or SMU/UH. Time to vote BE.

What legitimate BCS Buster won't be a member of an automatic bid conference? Looks like TCU and Boise will be accounted for. Houston, too.

These will be program altering days for SMU. Gotta get in.

The man behind the curtain is an SMU fan? Each opponent we play seems to have conference re-alignment distractions the week leading up to playing us. I have a feeling SMU has a place at the table but the man pulling the strings is waiting until after we win CUSA.

No idea why he writes for a Dallas paper and re-reports stuff from the Houston paper (which is the only source mentioning Houston without SMU).
