Help in the Polls

I may be totally off base with this but I think all of the attention in the last 24 hours has to help us in the polls. Assuming we beat UCF, I think we get more votes now because a lot of those writers and coaches who never gave us a second thought have probably looked up our record this year and are giving us a closer look. All the eastern writers in particular.

Lot's of teams ahead of us could easily lose today (Baylor, Michigan State, Texas, Notre Dame, Florida and maybe K. State). Top 25 is not likely, but possible.

we will get more attention and votes but need to win the next two weeks on the road (and watch some other top 25 programs lose) before SMU sneaks into the top 25. Would love to see an unbeaten and ranked Houston team against a ranked one loss SMU team later this season

So far Baylor and Texas have lost so they'll drop out. Barring a major upset, ASU will fall out after tonight. Amongst those receiving votes, it looks like only UNC has lost so far.
