Attendance-No Big Deal

Of course, it wasn't good. Probably about 20k considering the shade was overfilled with SRO in the aisles.
But the "we should have more at 4-1, important conference game, etc".
Look, there is probably 25,000 locals that keep track of SMU enough to know those details. Strip out some for the Rangers and you have the crowd today.
Our record and the importance of the game means nothing because those who don't come to games already don't know our record. We have no advertising and we aren't getting mentioned on the news or ESPN. To someone who doesn't follow SMU regularly this game was no different from 2-2 SMU vs UAB.
When we advertise and get no crowd, or when we are 7-1 and on ESPN with BCS buster potential talk and get no crowd, then we should be concerned. We aren't there yet.
