i told the people i brought to the game that it would be a near sellout. whoops. only 5k remaining.
i honestly think the rangers did us in today attendance-wise.
we went to a hamburger place after the game and it was deserted. watched some college football there. i'm not into baseball at all. have not watched one at bat the entire year. the manager came over and asked if we wanted to watch the rangers. no was all i said.
we have the best team we have had since the 80s. i remember when average joes came to our games at texas stadium.
there was no vibe on the vard.
fortunately the team showed up.

Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel is hilarious:

"SMU defeated its nationally ranked rival TCU two weeks ago in the "Battle of Iron Skillet" and on Saturday the Mustangs took the skillet and beat UCF's brains out with it. UCF came into the game ranked No. 1 nationally in pass defense, but SMU quarterback J.J. McDermott threw for 358 yards and made the Knights' secondary look more disorganized than a teenage girl's closet."

The comments are pretty brutal, expecially toward GOL.
