BSC poll out and Texas in in the top 25! Texas gets drooped from the coaches poll and Harris Poll (2/3 of the ranking formula) and still gets ranked. So, that means the computer is programed to favor certain teams regardless of how little they deserve it. Talk about rigged!

Computers take into account strenght of conference. Most of the computers have the Big 12-XXX as the strongest conference this year because they did so well in their non-conference games.

Congrats to Houston for being No. 19 in BCS.

I want SMU's bowl game this year to be against those a$$holes in Austin so that we can BEAT THE EVER LOVIN' HELL OUT OF THEM!

yep. only 3 non-conf losses, and all to top-25 teams.

plus Texas has lost to 2 of the Top 4 teams

Great! Texas beats #47 BYU, #53 UCLA, and #79 Rice and they get computer love for OOC schedule.

And you're surprised why? I wouldn't expect anything less.

not that big a deal at this point in the season. When UT loses to Baylor and A&M then you wont have to worry about where they are ranked.

SMU at #31 (0.0174) and USM at #36 (0.0037). May take more than one win to push us into the BCS Top 25, but we are headed in the right direction. No reason to worry about where other teams are ranked, just beat USM and go on to the next one!
