Right. Because 4 schools in one smallish state is not enough - what the ACC REALLY needs is 5 schools in NC.

If the TV guys had their way they would boot out Wake and NC State - which don't add anything to a conference that already has Duke and NC.

There isn't a thick enough pair of beer goggles that would get ECU taken home at the end of the night.

maybe, but i get a kick out of their desperation for some reason.

One thing is bagging on ECU, another is bagging on obnoxious ECU fans you come across on the interwebs.

Traveled to the ECU game last Thanksgiving. ECU is the only thing happening in the eastern part of North Carolina. That is why they normally get 50,000+ for games. We had a great time especially since we won in OT. The ECU fans were very friendly even in defeat. It was a trip I would make again if we ever get a chance. Have no bad feelings for ECU.

It's always refreshing o hear of classy fans... My trip to UCF last year was quite the opposite of that. The fans were mostly hostile and classless. It was like a bad knockoff of jersey shore college football edition...

well, I wouldn't say its the only thing happening in eastern NC...keep going another hour and a half east and you're here at the beautiful beaches of NC (Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Ocean Isle, Kure Beach, Topsail, Figure 8 Island, Bald Head Island, etc).

Greenville is a dump, and ECU is just a horrible place. If you come to the next ECU away game, let me know and you can come see the better part of NC. Cruise the intercoastal, fish, hit the beaches and you'll never want to go back to Texas. :D

One of my daughter in laws parents live in Hatteras Village. Try to spend a week there every year. So fully familiar with the eastern part of NC including the area around Wilmington. Just saying we had a good time going to the ECU game but what do I know, I am just a country boy living in the city.

Haha, it was great to win that game the way we did. My ECU friends took the loss well for the most part. Anytime you're in the area feel free to contact me and I can give you some good locations to visit.

And Eaststang, the golf is the reason I am here. :D
