This was posted before, but it doesn't matter. Kelan is a Great Kid...and that is a great photo. We should make sure lots of people see this.

Read his story on Sunday after they announced him during the game on Saturday. Couldn't read it without tearing up. As athletes and players I think we take for granted to often the things we are able to do. It's great that SMU, Jones and the team brought him in. So many kids like him that want nothing more than to have just one shot. Hopefully we can help out as many as possible.

I posted the link to my facebook page. Again, this is the stuff that makes the college game great. I am proud of what JJ brings as HC, and very proud of our young men.

Was a very nice moment when he was recognized during the game on the big screen. For all of our bit@hing about some of our in game promotions, etc., this one was done right.
Even more impressive to me, was the behavior of our players. While everyone is clapping for Kelan, you could see on the screen all the players seated around him stand up and give him a standing ovation as well.
