Any chance in helll of bringing back baseball with the move to the Big East and increased revenue? Obviously we would need to also add softball or an equivalent women's sport. Big E is not a powerhouse baseball conference; we could compete pretty quickly with some support.

Just wondering if there has even been much discussion about it. There was a proposal for a minor league park near downtown Dallas a couple of years ago that never materialized.

I'm sure they'd look into refurbing Reverchon before they built their own park.

I would love to see SMU bring baseball back, but not at Revechon Park. You would have to wear surgical gloves on your shoes.

Please no. Baseball is boring and sucks up time, space and money.

the cost to start a baseball team and start up a new women's sport is cost prohibitive.

I would rather see lax as a new sport and throw in some Field Hockey/Softball for Title IX. I love baseball and may Steve Adair rest in peace, but I think SMU does not need to add baseball.

There's a reason I didn't even think of for not adding baseball. We have to add another money sucking woman's program. Does Home Ec. count towards that. Need to send my wife to a class, she never learned how to cook or clean. Just shopping and hiring help.

We're heading East. Expect women's LAX first, then men's. Swap Equestrian for literally any other sport in the world.

Baseball is a must for SMU, the four FBS private schools in Texas all have baseball and are good, except SMU. As for Title IX, easy fix... Add Lingerie Football for the ladies...

if we field a 95-woman lingerie team, then we can do both baseball and track and field.
