Well I don't like his name. What the hell kind of name is Katz anyway?

Jewish. Katz's deli in Austin was great until it closed this year.

What a putz! Kvetching about our recent bball history. Sure we will prop up the BE for a while but with the talent in the area and the upgrades to facilities we'll get there.

Not sure how UCF is a hidden Gem but SMU isn't? I am sure this is something that ESPN forced on him to write. They want Big East Football to die. Just like Katz was reporting that AFA and Boise were unlikely to accept invites. A-holes.

Yeah. It was so great it closed. What, the Jewish population in Austin increases 100% when Kinky Friedman (spl)comes to town. Why not make a Kosher brisket out of Bevo? Shalom.

i find it interesting that he goes as far as to say that the additional funding would improve memphis's horrible football team, which would make it more attractive overall.

under that logic, wouldn't the additional funding help to improve our basketball program (as mentioned above by mustangsabu)?

Memphis has potential in football??? Looks like Gary Patterson is off the hook... Andy Katz is a [Andy Katz]... One question for Andy, who makes the money, football or basketball???

I like Katz's Deli. Have an express by my house. Wonderful. Delightful. Jewish.

As for Katz himself. Basketball does not matter in re-alignment. Stop having non-football people talk about this stuff because it does not matter. Might as well argue that our women's synchronized swimming team isn't up to snuff for the BE either. Outside of televised sporting events and Thad's 30/30 ESPN can just die. I loathe you ESPN!!
