ESPN better be REPORTING the news and not MAKING the news up like Mr. Katz has been doing lately.

However, Fowler did mention on yesterday's show that UH was lobbying for gameday to be in Houston for the SMU game. That would be awesome. We need to beat USM and Tulsa for that to happen IMHO

Can't see SMU-Houston beating out Wisconsin-Illinois, K-State-Texas or Nebraska-Michigan to host Gameday even if both enter the game as Top 20 teams.

Not saying it is likely, but ESPN will occasionally venture out of their comfort zone if a game merits the attention. I think they went to TCU a year or 2 ago..against Boise/BYU/or Utah if I recall.

Way ahead of myself, but if UH is undefeated and we have one loss, both ranked and headed off to BE...the stars might just align. Who knows.

That's a good point, it would help a lot if somehow SMU-Houston were the only matchup of Top 25 teams that Saturday.

Assuming they are undefeated and we carry one loss heading into that game we both should be top 20 if not even to 15. We still won't be getting game day but it will be a great game, and maybe the best match-up of the week.

Get the SMU flags and signs ready, especially if Chris Fowler is interviewing Coach J.J.
