Under the plan, Super Conference would consist of four divisions: West, Mountain, Central and the Big East.
...
The Mountain Division would consist of Air Force, Wyoming, Colorado State, New Mexico, UTEP, SMU, Tulsa and Houston.

This is ridiculous. Plus, the 28 team version moves UH out of our division. Why eliminate the only natural rivalry in our division?

If this is true, Big East knows they are losing more teams and/or the remaining will lose AQ for sure. This is desperation. We need another option. Please crazy SEC talk be true!

Hate it, but unfortunately, this makes some sense. Think about it from the BCS perspective. The BCS is already pregnant with the Big East and faces a public relations and possibly an antitrust problem if they try to take access away from any of the schools that currently already have it. So, if they figure that they have to give or renew one AQ spot to the Big East or its successor anyway, why not get more bang for the buck? Instead of letting 12 undesirable schools share that one AQ spot, make 32 undesirable schools share it. What does that do for the BCS? First of all it quiets alot of complaints and potential lawsuits. Second, and most importantly, it is a cheap way of keeping 96 teams viable in D-1. This is still important for non-conference scheduling and also allowing the current bowl system to survive.

Would Indy be a better option? Create a partnership with BYU?
