If we play like yesterday then it should be Tulsa by 24

Are you serious? Why is our freaking homecoming against the worst team Tulane. I mean we are going to get beat by hostile environments as lame of an excuse that is for us. I still predict SMU by 10. Jones will threaten J.J. that Padron will start.

One of the things that we ran into last night was the "hostile enviroment." I don't think that can be attributed to the fact that it was homecoming though. For two weeks they prepared for us, we are one of, if not the, best team on their schedule and Fedora worked to get his team amped up for the challenge and they responded. They made a concerted effort to put butts in the seats and their fans were excited to see our team. This wont be the case at Tulsa. Theyve had a ball-buster of a schedule and their "big game" was OSU at home. Its going to be a tough challenge, but we dont jump off the schedule as the "big game" for Tulsa like we did at USM. If we step up and play like we can and should then this will be a big win. I bet our guys respond well, after TCU and UCF, USM was our let down game. Our coaching staff is too smart and too good to let our guys have a hangover, theyre going to play hard and angry.

Typically homecoming is scheduled against weaker opponents which is why we chose Tulane. Not sure why we are 3 team's homecoming. I'm not sure I understand your comment about hostile environments, and Jones threatening JJ with Padron is laughable.

Bc it's homecoming. A home game in October after being on the road.

We've had some road games in oct and where we're going is returning from road trips

I think they will score 21 to 28. The question is, can we score more? It would appear their defense is not as good as USM. So we have a chance to get McD more time to throw. I was amazed at how many times that Line was on the "wrong" side of JJ in the USM game to help block and pick up the outside blitz. He didn't seem to notice. Or Mason didn't.

I think this is an indication of how strong this part of the schedule is. The line has been around 3 points either way the during this 3 game conference stretch. And as poor as we performed on National TV with national expectations for a change, I am surprised we are only 3 point dogs.

If we don't play with more intensity, better focus and attention to details, we will get whipped by Tulsa. We have to play like a team that knows it can lose if it doesn’t perform well (like against USM). We can't make stupid mistakes (false starts) and miss assignments against Tulsa. We could get away with these mistakes against Memphis, NSU and to some extent UCF. Not this game.

SMU can win this game! With a good game plan by the coaches, and a focused squad, we win by 7.

This line will move up......6 or 7 by game time...
