Glad to see the thread about Padron being injured... not glad to see that he was injured... but HB Pony Dad and I couldn't believe that he wasn't in on those 1st and goal situations. Esp. midway-to-late in the game.

I was thinking, how could he be that badly into JJ's doghouse to not get in there?

Not trying to start a "quarterback controversy" thread, it was just sort of shocking to not see him run on the field with an obvious run (qb keeper)/pass option.

Anyway, up until last game J.J. McD has started to look good in the offense, well, he even looked good in the first half despite our inability to punch it in in the red zone. Anyway, hope KP returns to health. Again, not trying to start anything... just more that it would have been nice to have him in those situations.

I think McD comes back strong against Tulsa. I'm thinking the whole team started to read their press clippings this past week, but June will get their minds right by Saturday... then again I'm what used to be derisively called a "sunshiner" on this board.

I like what you are saying and think it may very well be a smart move because let's face it. We go to ONE Receiver, ONE running back. With a QB change to give us another option, making 3, it could return a few red zone points that our lack of multiple options currently deliver.

Keys for McD to have a better game

1) Not have to take every snap at his knee caps
2) Have his O Line give him more than 0.005 seconds to throw the ball
