I still say the average IQ and SAT scores have now gone UP in BOTH conferences now that WV is gone....

So, the question remains, what did/does WVU have to pay to get that deal? Meanwhile, Pitt and Syracuse are stuck for 27 months? Doesn't add up.

Big East is saying that they are to be held to the 27 month rule.

Big East needs to let WVU bypass the 27 month wait, so Texas has a new Thanksgiving day rival. Instead of a totem pole bonfire, it will be a couch burning bonfire leading up to the UT-WVU game.

that's what they are sayin'-bet that's not what happens. Probably the Big 12 is still negotiating with SEC for Missouri's immediate entry into SEC and then a ransom will be announced for West Virginia to take Missouri's place in 2012 schedule.

remarkable that the Big 12 is saying effective in 2012 and the Big East is saying no way. You can't make this stuff up. West Virginia in the same conference with Texas is something no one could have predicted 5 years ago. It sort of confirms that SMU won't be rejoining TCU and Baylor in a league for a long time. there is not gonna be another shift in 3 years, this is the shift. We are looking at whatever comes out of this as college football for the next 10-15 years. Maybe sanity returns sometime around 2025.
