SMU-Tulane Game Attendance?

What will attendance be for homecoming? Good lawd.

I was planning to travel to Dallas and go to the game and bring some with me, but its just kinda hard to get up for it. I have felt bad for the team for the past few home games with the sparse stands on TV, so I was going to try to do my part. But, I was sort of assuming the team would do its part. Ugghh...

the usual 16k we get for Homecoming...assuming the weather is good. By 3rd quarter, there will be more people on the Blvd than in Ford

16k or 16 total?

This team has disintegrated.

My job as a fan requires I attend. I will be there doing my job regardless of anyone else not doing theirs.

I suppose my trip is still on too...unless of course Tulsa gets the Big East invite instead of us. :)

I'll be there. However, after seeing this team the last two weeks then there's no way I'm booking a flight and hotel down to Houston for that game.

It will be ugly attendance as the play of the last two weeks will NOT inspire anyone to come out. I say 17,000 at the game and Tulane will bring 200 fans, 150 more than UCF did.

SMU community has an opportunity to step up and make a difference for this team. After two very difficult and crushing road defeats in a row, this team needs a good, rowdy, supportive homecoming crowd next week to pump some life into them.

I fear that in typical SMU fashion, only 16k will show and 3-4,000 of them will leave after the homecoming queen is crowned.

and we think we are deserving of a top 25 program and AQ status?

Prove me wrong, SMU community

P.S. you know my comments aren't directed to the hard core faithful on this board...it's all of our classmates and fellow alumni who live in the DFW area and could not care less about SMU football.

Long live the 1500!

ECU drew 49k for their game against Tulane yesterday. We are fortunate to be mentioned ahead of them in Big East expansion talks. Give credit to the salesmanship of our administration

SMU, as an institution and football program, does not deserve to be in an AQ conference. We have terrible fan support, a mediocre team, and a head coach who looks like he has all but checked out. What has happened the last two weeks is proof we are where we belong and if we had any dignity we would turn down the Big East.
