Can We Please Get a Real Coach?

Not some burnout that is happy to go the Hawaii bowl each year....

I hope you JJ lovers saw today how bad our talent was, bad recruiting, bad offense, we need to let JJ ride off in the sunset back to Hawaii.

Look, we are committed to football, we have a blank check..but to waste it on June Jones is a mistake....Get someone that has some fire.

The curtains have been pulled back...after all that money, we have marginal talent and a coach with no fire.

Wake up pony fans, time to move on. We have been exposed as the frauds we are.....

We spend all this money, lets do something with it.

/cheers

It's not that we have no talent. We have a coach who is firmly stuck in his system and unwilling to adapt. If his system doesn't work early, he just keeps trying the same things over.

And he sucks at clock management.

A few good points but Jones isn't going anywhere.

Put the loss on JJ if you want. We were bigger and faster than Tulsa but we didnt execute anything

We have talent...wasted talent. The announcers today were incredulous during the broadcast about the bad coaching, no time urgency and it was apparent that the team had uninspired effort and no pride. It amazing to see nothing being done by the coaches to rally the troops when it was obvious the team was having a meltdown and JJ was totally out of it, with NO clue. Put someone in at QB, ANYone at that point.

Offenses that I like better than ours:

Georgia Tech

Is it too late to go for Paul Johnson again? I'd love to see Line as an option FB.

I'm not sure what you guys were watching but someone was open on almost every play. The problem is the ball is not getting to them. You know why you like those offenses better than SMU's? Look at The QB's for each of those teams.

Please.

It was a horrible game. It happens.

Ask Stoops about last week. Ask Snyder about this week.

We DON'T have any talent. Our Senior class, the one that is starting and the one JJ recruited when he first got here and got the latest start in recruiting in all of Div-I, was primarily leftovers, no offense to them. JJ has coached them up and made them competitive.

Everybody chill out. The wheels aren't coming off - we have arrived at the gauntlet part of our schedule, and two programs with more talent have shown themselves better this year. Get over it.

Jesus everybody acts like children when we lose.

There is someone open on every play but it makes no difference if the QB can't get them the ball.

considered that for a second, then I remembered that Houston's 4th string true frosh shredded us a year ago too, and we struggled vs their D-line of walkons & injureds.

Yes, I'm sure Monday we'll see film of someone open on every play. Just like we have on every Monday the last few years.

Gauntlet's over. Tulane, Rice and Navy have a combined 6-19 record, if the wheels truly aren't coming off then we'll beat all 3 and end up 8-4.
