Then again who would have thought the Big 10 would actually name their divisions Leaders and Legends?

People in the west want in while people in the east want out. Someone can come up with clever division names for that

Big East has tremendous name recognition. No reason to change it anytime soon. Not to be doom and gloom but say the other AQ conferences rapidly reshuffle and go to 16, the Big East could turn into just a BB conferences. Those BB schools would not want to have to start over without the BE name.

Divisions: every one in the west sees it as a move up, most in the east looking to move out -> Up & Out
West: Up
East: Out

How about the Navel Conference. Divisions would be the Innies and the Outies.

According to this website: http://www.geomidpoint.com/ , the western suburbs of Minneapolis are the exact midpoint between Providence, R.I. and Boise, Idaho. So we change the name to the Big Middle and move our hq's to Minnesota.
