Saw this, but didn't want to post it. Idea is silly and the comments section was like every other attendance thread on this board.

Just have one entrance and exit for the BLVD... Ford Stadium entrance gates. Allow multiple entries and beer.

Move the students closer to the stadium (Doak Walker Plaza) and the only exit they have would be the stadium until after the game.

They looked at that and it is not feasible

My senior year the students boycotted tailgate because SMU's alcohol rules were thought to be too harsh. Yah, student section was just as empty. Empty blvd = empty stadium

Multiple entries and beer isn't going to happen. Rice sells beer...doesn't help them any

Shut down blvd when game starts or 15-30 minutes after. I know other schools have done this in hope of improving attendance.

Blvd actually does technically "shut down". I think its 30 min before kickoff, when Peruna, the band, and cheerleaders head to the stadium. However, its not enforced whatsoever.

I know there are still a ton of people out there after kickoff, we need to something to get them in.

Simply beat the wanna-be SEC bullsh*t out of every one of the undergrad students. It can be an upper-class elective course.

Need bouncers to yell "You don't have to go Home but you can't Stay here". That always works for me

add game attendance as a requirement for passing wellness, no one wants to be the kid that fails and has to retake wellness

Chance to forced mingle with the freshman coeds...might have to disagree there.
