SMU has embarked on a $60 million plan to build new facilities for athletics and improve existing ones. Jones said plans are now in place to build an indoor football practice facility similar to what LSU has on campus.

Says $60 mil is for building new and improving existing athletics facilities. Would like to see some type of athletics master plan, but I guess a good deal depends on if alumni want to support new sports in the Big East (lacrosse, baseball, etc).

Interesting comment about the R&S aimed at utilizing taking shorter receivers and small d-linemen (that need two years to grow). As SMU's recruiting classes continue to improve by leaps and bounds this should no longer be the case. If Printz were to make it all the way to being a 5* (already looking to be a 4*) recruit, we better see some 4* receivers coming with him.

Also states that June felt we looked like a P.W. team in terms of conditioning upon his arrival and saw stabilizing the program as a 5-year ordeal.

Hard to believe Tulane was once part of the SEC and that we are now the model for a successful turn around.

Go Mustangs!
