Der'rikk Thompson

I've been really impressed with Der'rickk's maturation this year. He's starting to get a swagger out there and if/when he gets that "want" for the ball like all good receivers have, he has a chance to be bettter than ES. He's a quiet kid, but I hope he finds that fire inside that ES has.
I'm pretty excited for this receiving corps next year. DJ is amazing, Der'rickk and Jeremy Johnson have both looked good and if Ace Holleman comes back strong next year with all the other additions, we could really be two and maybe three deep across the board with quality (albeit young and unproven) talent.

hopefully the current commits hold up, too. FR can come right in and have an impact at WR. Can't have too many weapons

Is anybody else worried about our offensive line next season? We're losing a great O-line!

We replace a seasoned OL with a higher star

I'm just happy to see Thompson able to make a good adjustment and great catch on a deep ball. That is not something we have seen out of him yet so that is encouraging.

yeah, i think he's probably our best new player, albeit redshirt. stephon sanders is another new guy that has shown shome flashes this season as well on the other side of the ball.

For all the hype, they haven't exactly been world beaters. Too many penalties and too much pressure allowed when we play above average teams. They've only really kept McDremott clean when we play a bottom feeder.
So having said all that, I'm worried about the unknown, but not as worried as I'd be if this senior group was playing lights out.
I think they've been good in run blocking, but we'll know just how good if Zach struggles next year.

Adding Marks to an already talented group makes us a scary good at WR - BCS quality
