We need a better record for him to even be in consideration. I don't think he's a heisman candidate honestly. I do think he's awfully good though and should have a legitimate chance to go to the NFL. He reminds me of Peyton Hillis.

Being at SMU it is possible he could be selected as a Doak Walker Award finalist. Like the Heisman, our team does not warrant him winning, and there are some big time RBs out there like the Alabama kid, but he could get some recognition.

Still has another year to make impressions and get signed by an nfl team. How good is our o-line going to be next year?

He may look at our returning O-line experience and put himself up for the NFL draft. Just saying......whole lot of inexperience there....

The best thing about his 17 TD's is he just tosses the ball to the ref and goes to the sideline.

I think our OL will be fine. We have more highly rated kids than the ones that are starting. Yes we lose experience, but I will take better over longer every time. Might take a while for them to play well together but I really am not worried about it. Hopefully I will not have to retract this.

Maybe he can get some featured plays next year or some two back plays as the we start to build up a stable of RBs. Also will have his brother on the team next year.

How cool would it be for a Mustang to win the Doak Walker. Even if he doesn't win, I suspect he'll be on the finalist list. NFL is a longshot, but he kind of reminds me of John Riggins. He moves the pile.

Zach will be playing on Sundays. Great blitz pickup blocker and a beast on special teams. Some team will take him in the later rounds.
